Is there anyone in the Cubs organization that knows Zambrano is done? He fucking blows, spits the bit everytime in big games. His stuff has deteriorated significantly, what once was 95 plus on the fastball is now 92, and he doesnt know how to pitch without his " good" stuff anymore. He will be a .500 with a plus 4 era pitcher from now until he retires. Easier said then done trading him with his contract and no trade I know but he needs to be moved and moved soon. Hell, if they got rid of Bradley the can get rid of him. Im sure Omar Minaya still thinks he has something left in the tank. He doesnt have to go away mad, he just needs to go away.

The good news is with how crazy he's been today he's probably back on the juice.

He should be suspect #1 for steroids.

Wait, is Pujols still in the league?

Ok, then Z cannot be suspect #1.

Yeah but Pujols gets the steroids that make you good at hitting a baseball. I think Zambrano's steroids just make you bipolar and bad at pitching

He can also beat the beard off of a water cooler, too. Leave it to the Cubs' coaches to let talent like that just rot on the vine.

I've never seen any evidence of Pujols besides the fact that he's really big and hits a lot of home runs.

Z shows clear signs of roid rage. The random uncontrollable outbursts aren't something that happens to normal people especially when the person is supposedly a mild mannered person most of the time according to what people say about him in the locker room.

Roid rage is mostly myth. It may make you a bit more agressive than you normally would be but, basically guys who claim roid rage are just assholes to begin with. If anything being really big and hitting a shitload of home runs is a better indicator than how well mannered a person is.

Maybe he is just very competitive about his profession. I know guys who would be sharks at work yet laid back and mellow at the bar, ie most pit traders.

What the hell is going on?
Since 2003 the Cubs have been the fightiest team I've seen in a while. Fightin with themselves, fightin the other team, fightin amongst the TV crews and fighting with fans. Seriously is it that stressful being a Cub?

I wouldn't say myth. Some say that it's simply the unmasking of deeper aggression but I don't think anyone doubts that the use of steroids can lead to increased aggression.

That could be but most professional athletes are competitive without having incidents like this 2 or 3 times a year.

Look at where he is playing, the atmosphere. a Manager who just sits there doing all kinds of strange shit and a GM who just writes checks to anyone with out care and most importantly a fucking owner on vacation in the middle of the season.

Edit: 6 weeks till first preseason football game , thank god even my team is not this fucked up.

Northside Dan put up a video of Z doing his thing. As I watched it I really thought Z came back out and sat close to Lee looking to start something and Lee didn't pull a Barrett and give him the chance. That was my take and I didn't care for it. Waivers won't work. This will have to be an approved Zambrano trade where the Cub eat no less than 60 percent of the next 3 years.

Just out of curiosity, doesn't anyone think that the whole Guillen angle is strange?
I mean, he's hanging out with a manager from another team, who is being referred to as a type of mentor, and he's basically abandoning his current team, pitching like crap and being generally disruptive... do the Cubs have any type of tampering angle? Could there be anything to that? If I'm the GM of the Cubs, I'm telling my players that they just don't hang out ang get advise from another teams manager, who might just have a self serving agenda.

Crowd: Dingers! Dingers!

Oooh!
