It appears an announcement will be made shortly after the conclusion of the World Series that the former cubs minor league manager will be part of the Quade Squad where he will serve as bench coach. All I can say is World Fucking Series. Believe it. :shock:

I think Whistler will go with the angle that Hendry is spurning Sandberg by hiring every other successful minor league manager the cubs have recently had. Its only a matter of time before jody davis is the bullpen coach.

i never understood why he wasn't working in the brewers system...what got him in the cubs system?

What does this mean for Sandberg? This is the burning question. Will he return to Iowa? Will he become a base coach for the Cubs so that they can have the entire fraternity of Cubs AAA managers for the last decade together on one staff? Will he go to the brew crew to stick it to the cubs? These are the questions. We need the answers.

About 9 years ago, I saw some guy bid $6 for a Pat Listach card on Ebay. I had to email the guy who bought it and ask why he had to have it. It was a relative.....they claim.
