Okay this is at least my impression of what the mgmt structure is.

Tom - in charge overall. Will probably make final decisions on managerial/general managerial hires and oversees on field decisions.

Laura - handles off field and special events.

Todd and Pete aren't all that involved in the daytoday operations of the team.

Does that seem about right to everyone?

5-7 years? nah , not enough time for jim to prove himself, i say give jim 12- 15 years.. if by 2026 the team still sucks, well then MAYBE it is time to start to look at another gm to shape this team.

ed sprague? cmon now the dude sucked. wilken is average at best at scouting... i think his big pick jeff samaridja blows. not sold on barney cashner vitters or colvin either. his latest high pick ,a pitcher named simpson ...was expected to be drafted in 3rd round. sounds like a big reach.
