No, not talking only about the Cubs, but last year at 3.060,000 was lowest total in 6 years, I see things slipping under the 3 Mill mark and it's fine with me. Afterall, not my money!

Agreed, BF. My wife wanted to know if I'd like to go to a game for my birthday this year and I said you couldn't have picked a better year for it. I have a feeling there are going to be lots of tickets available. Especially for the games during the week we might go to.

Too much attention paid to attendance. Usually focuses on the Sox now I see the Cubs are joining the mix. According to Forbes the Sox are worth over a half billion ($27M(!!!) profit last year) and the Cubs are over 3/4's billion. I wish I had Chicago's baseball teams problems.

I was wondering if today's game would be sold out... Like if I had just shown up and grabbed any ol ticket could I have gotten in? My lazy hangover prevented any decisive action (not to mention I want to see Tommy Hanson's start @ noon) but like, I'm really hoping you can just up and go to a Cubs game this year.
