he never was a touted prospect...just one of those Andres Blanco guys that came up in the middle of the season when someone went on the disabled list
we traded him away as an afterthought, yet here he is 17 years later, always seeming to land on winning teams (including the yankees!)
he does nothing spectacular but just seems to do everything good enough
