I would put the starters and their stats here but does anyone really care anymore?

The Royals have some legit real prospects playing. The Cubs have DJ and Montanez in the lineup tonight. Aram and his 20 percent effort will be batting 3rd tonight it seems. Bruce Chen is still in baseball?

The Cubs real prospect,Bret Jackson, will not be called up so the Cubs could "own" him longer.

I think Jackson has a shot to be similar to Drew Stubbs which is good with me but I think the skys the limit for Matt Sczcur who's at Peoria right now.
I'd love to see a 2013 outfield of Jackson / Sczcur and Ha.

So far from a few glances I have seen Castro steeling, Soriano at home and I am guessing dead ass thought he had a bomb and walked for 10 steps before being thrown out jogging into second. Quade says there close though..........close to being the worst team in baseball. I think they are 2 games out of dead last in the game.

He didnt think he had a bomb, it was a liner into the corner. It was just bad baserunning. Soto got thrown out at 3rd too.

good lord. runners get thrown out here and there but 4 times in 1 game says there is something fundamentally wrong with this team.

A W!!!! Quade thinks the stars have aligned and the pieces are in place for a championship run. Aside from the sunshine and lollipops he will try to force into everyone's ass post game here is what I can take from this meaningless win.....

4 runners were thrown out which is gym class ball.

DJ came through with some important hits.

Quade's late inning moves nearly secured a loss (dewitt replaced Montanez who had a nice double earlier and hit into a double play with runners on 1st and 3rd and no one out and after Russell quickly dispatched of the first 2 batters of the 7th, Quade brought in Carpenter who walked the first 2 batters he saw).

The Royals aren't very good even though they have a shit ton of 1st round picks on that team right now.

Bruce Chen is still a big league pitcher and is better than half of the Cubs staff.

Aram can still occasionally lift himself off his dead ass and hit, but asking him to run the bases is out of the question.

I feel like every decision Quade makes ends up not working.

You get a fucking out and then you bring in Shark Pirate to then walk everyone. Stop micro-managing like its the fucking playoffs. Your teams sucks....so when something works stop fucking with it already.

You are witnessing the emerging genius that is Mike Quade, the hand picked manager of James Hendry, talent evaluator extraordinaire.

Its weird....when he just kinda lets things play out and follows some generic philosophy things sometimes work out. When he trys to bring in a specialist or pinch hit someone it almost always blows up in his face. Someone must have gotten in his grill and told him to cool out on his Dewitt obsession.

He pinch hit him last night and while driving in the tying run he killed a 1st and 3rd with no outs rally with his double play.

He may be the worst fielding 2nd basemen in all of baseball. Absolutely brutal.

Soriano & Pena have below average ribby totals and it shows. These two guys very seldom get the big hit. Two strikes is like 3 most of the time with these two.

Hence the vision of Quade putting him in left field for the last few weeks.

Another day.....another completely new lineup. Today we once again see Soriano in Left while captain dead ass dh's and Quade's boy Dewitt holding down third. I think Reed Cobb bats 5th today as well!! DJ is in the lineup again which is awesome though he will probably be returned to AA in a few days when Barney who is in AAA right now returns.

Wells has one hell of a big league attitude on him or at least he seems to carry alot of arrogance with him onto the mound. He may need some of Big Z's anger management because he seems to let things snowball when they start to go bad.
