The Cubs have a dillema with Garza.

They have to decide if they think they can compete in the next 2 years as he is theirs through 2013.

IF they think they can't they should think about trading him he probably could command a nice package.

When they got him though I think it's obvious they were thinking past 2011. They had a chance to pick up a good pitcher who had 3 years under control.

Dempster - he might be their most tradable pitcher. I think he may have had his last Cubs start Tuesday night. Actually his last Cubs start this season. Wouldn't be surprised to see the redheaded Canadian goof back in 2012 as a free agent.

Dempster has a player option next year for 14 mil.

Dempster has been terrible this year.
Paying him $14 million next year is obscene.

Hendry will not trade Garza. It will be him admitting that the trade for him was a mistake which it was.

Marmol or Marshall are their most tradeable pitchers and both should be dealt.

Garza has been pitching better but this team sucks so bad that they can't pick him up

They would get back less then what they gave up last offeseason. Why would they do that?

Nobody wants Dempster. How is he the most tradable pitcher?

I think you are just focused on commanding a nice package
