Why is he not being added to the roster? Why would you not want to give the guy a taste of the big leagues? Is it a service time issue? Come on FanBoy. Gotta pinch those pennies even for a guy who's never been in the MLB yet? I thought the goal was to develop young talent?

What a joke!

1. Quade would play him once a week.
2. Maybe they don't want to burn an option
3. I think he is playing in the Pan Am games, whatever the hell that is
4. Some suggest they are showcasing Byrd for a trade

Jackson is hitting .247 in the minor leagues. I hardly call that developed.

Where the hell did you get that from?

He was hitting .256 in AA and .305 in AAA for a total of .277

The first article I googled, which seemingly was from July 28th.

No. He won't get called up and his trip to the Arizona Fall League was cancelled. It is believed he will participate in the Pan Am games.

Reality is they want that full 6 years

expect the rest tomorrow. Cashner was called up today and Iowa finished today so there should be more soon.

I would rather they worry about players being good and not how many options or years of arbitration they have them for.
