Bleacher night!

36,000 in the house, OK, at least 30,000, great night, cheap tickets, cold beer!

Grabbed 10 Bleacher seats for $200K, took the nephew and 2 other guys took their kids as well. Got their at 5 PM for BP. Actually brought the gloves out!!! Haven't done that in years!

Grabbed 4 Balls

1. Homerun by Reed Johnson CAUGHT!
2. Hit a guys foot and rolled like 20 feet down the aisle right to me.
3. Take the glove off, checking the phone and the ball is hit right to me! Don't have time to put the glove on, shove the phone in my pocket and caught the ball in the glove, holding two sides of the glove.
4. HR over my head, ball hits last row bench, then fence and bounces 2o feet back towards field and I snag it.

Nephew, who is not the best glove man in the world, actually grabbed a ball Soriano tossed into a mess of kids, was shocked but he grabbed it.

We walked out with about 24 balls, each kid took 2 home and we gave the rest away to kids on the street or in the stands.

Was actually getting sick of grabbing them.

Cubs lose 5-1, but at this point, who cares.

Yes, prices for the tickets actually really started going up at game time. Sold my seats for $40 each tonight and On Stubhub they were at $20 at around 3 PM.

Told them prices would be rising for tonight.

I actually get on the air on ESPN, not put on hold for like 30 minutes on WSCR.

To be honest, when the park is as empty as it is now, that may be the only way to get me into the bleachers.

I'm taking my last trip to the Cell on Saturday, and I'm hoping for about 500 people, including the players.

Somewhere there is a Sox fan crafting a joke about you being in the bleachers at wrigley and "grabbing balls".

If I prune it, you would not get the attention you seek by constantly correcting which threads go in which forum.

The other thread I happen to focus on the Chicken Wings I enjoyed at Wrigley. Good enough to warrant it's own FOOD and BEVERAGE thread.
