I am curious to see just how many changes Epstein makes in the area of scouting. With Ricketts extending some of the core people from the scouting department, it would seem to limit the number of changes Epstein might be able to make right away. Then again, he may approve of the guys in place now. I am anxious to see how that shakes out since the scouting is going to play such a major role in all this.

I wonder how much of the poor scouting done before was due to an unwillingness to pay for top prospects. It seems to me that, up until this last draft, that they would always look for the cheap underrated guy that they could sign and hopefully develop. Hopefully, they will continue with the premise implemented at this years draft by going after the top guys and paying them the money.

I think they should still send Leon Lee pantsless to Japan
