Anyone ever been to a game? I've always wanted to catch one and thinking about making a weekend out of it sometime this summer. What the hell is there to do in Des Moines?

never been to des moines but i caught a game in peoria some years back and it was a good time.

My wife and kids go about six times a season. We only live 80 miles away. The park is top notch and prices are great for everything. Not a bad ticket even up top. The berm gets really interesting in mid summer when the hot college girls lay out during day games. There is a lot to do in Des Moines besides watch corn grow and flies fuck. If you want to make a weekend of it go to Adventureland in Altoona during the day and catch the I Cubs at night. It is little six flags without the 400,000 twatheads and gangbangers sporting their cocked hats. Room rates are really decent . From the theme park to downtown Des Moines is about 25 minutes.
