You would think so, and while Dempster gave up 4 runs his last start he is due for a real clunker given the way he started out. He is also 2-4 with an ERA of nearly 5 lifetime against the Sox.

Of course, Danks' "good game" could be going 6 innings and giving up 4 runs so who knows.

I agree Frank. Demp is very due for a 2.1 5 earned 7 hits kind of day. That said, I'd still pick the Cubs 3 vs. the Sox 3 going into the series.

A couple crappy teams battling in May for the BP cup, meh. Sox win at least two and possibly sweep. Dunn has a big weekend. Dempster craps all over himself and loses in a blowout. At least Volsted pitched yesterday, so the Sox won't have him to kick around this time. Shark pitches a sold game but the bullpen loses it. LaHair continues to rake.

Konerko is too quiet and his numbers are never mind blowing. He is just a really really good player that has done it for years. Guys like that seem to get lost in the shuffle with all of the assholes and freakshow players that pop up.
