I booed. Someone behind me then chanted "Let's Go White Sox!"

"so you're scared and you're thinking that maybe we ain't that young anymore..." couldn't have been a more relevant line for this show, from artist to audience

Would love to hear a brief review of the show from your experience if you have time to type something up.

I like Bruce Springstien. I was surrounded by about 40K people who love him. The first half of the concert it didn't feel like I knew any of the songs. Everyone else in the stadium seemed to know every word to every B side he played. When I go to one these concerts where I am seeing rock royalty, I really only want to hear hits and maybe a cover of something to make it interesting. The second half of the concert didn't disappoint.

Rain started falling at about 9:30. I was sitting under cover so it didn't bother me. It didn't seem to bother Bruce either as he did not abbreviate the concert one bit. He is a true show man and I appreciate his work ethic.

That crowd was oooollld. The obligatory whores in tanktops near the stage sitting on someone's shoulders were in their 30s. An easy 25% of the crowd was in their 60s. That's not a problem, just an observation. Unlike other concerts at Wrigley, the crowd stood most of the time with no one yelling to sit down...sucks because I was ready to whip out "when they said sit down I stood up..."
