Epstein said manager Dale Sveum "has done a fantastic job" despite the record.

"The 100 losses are not his fault in the least bit," Epstein said. "He's done a really good job of maintaining as much of a winning culture as he possible can during a season like this."

Epstein said he plans to talk to the coaches and staff after Wednesday's game.

That is the second biggest ridiculous statement Theo has made in his first year..the first was when he said how great a ob Hendry did and would be missed...Give Sveum another season and let them go 75-87 next year , then bring in a better manager and get respectable again.
