Always wanted baseball teams to tell fans how many games they are going win in any given season and they should have some sort of Over Under wagers with season ticket holders on an annual basis.

Example, 2014 Cubs say we will win 81 games. If they win more than 81, my 2015 Season tickets cost X$ more and if they fall short of the number, then it cost Y$ less!

Sure, I know teams could set the number very low, but I dont think any team wants to come out with "Hey, we are going to win 67 games this year! "Come on out to the park!"

Also, this puts some pressure on the manager and his hand picked team next year. His contract year. They have shown improvement under him and I dont blame him for the patchwork tryouts in the bullpen, but the starters are doing very well and taking shape, you see some good hitting now (still room to improve) and I expect some MLB signings next season, not MLB tryouts in the pen.

Thus, I see no reason the # of 81 games cant be set as the goal for next season. Let Dale Svuem stake his job on it!
