It would be best for the team and for Marmol as well. I don't care if he signs elsewhere and performs well. It's not gonna get better consistently here with the Cubs.

It is june and he still can't find the plate. 1/3 of that salary is already in his pocket so they would now be eating 6.something mil. I would eat the whole thing and dump him off for anything anyone is willing to give back. I think a team may bite on that since he would basically be free. He has gotten some outs this year between being awful.
