Cubs just released that statement on FB. Maybe squeezing in an extra concert?

This might be a test by the Cubs & MLB to try to schedule more double-headers. This could leave more open dates, in case there are weather -related cancels earlier in the season.

Who do you think is Tunneys main support? "the gay community" has more power than the cubs when it comes to dealing with Tunney. Its why he has the job and keeps it.

so they've had to have had DMB..... i know they had pearl jam (with the good lord almighty having a little weather-based-fun with them to boot) and i think i remember ppl saying that they have billy joel this year, right?

so who the hell could it be for this fanbase/demographic/etc? i think they want to be a bit hipper than having 70s/80s nostalgia (billy joel notwithstanding) so if they're aiming for the 90s/00s for that 20-30something post-fratboy crowd who could it be..... are the pumpkins worthy of selling out wrigley? where's doug when you need him?

although you'd figure that the pumpkins might have played wrigley by now? fuck if i know. alls i know is that i definitely won't be there like i will when the greats of yesteryear start barnstorming the cell for some appointment concertery.

awwww damn it's a gay parade? shit.... can't they just have the game as planned and call it "gay day at wrigley field?"
