minimal playing time ahead, 11 HR in 149 AB at the end of the season was pretty good, even if he did hit 18 in his previous 7 years in MLB. :drunken: 30 years old and good bye.

Traded for 'Player to be named later' TEXAS

Olt will start the season with the big club.

No details yet. Savings of $825k. Doubt it's much more than that.

Whenever a player spends 30 days or more on the DL, then comes back and plays great, I am suspicious. Murphy was that player

He has to be the starter... just has to. Pretty excited to see him get the opportunity.

And Murphy was kind of bad at the end of the season. Had a very good stretch, was all.

Olt should definitely get the majority of playing time at 3B, but I still feel we'll see a lot of Valbuena there as well.

Interesting to see if Bonifacio can start enough that he becomes the leadoff guy.

Bonifacio / Kalish
Castro
Rizzo
Olt / Valbuena
Schierholtz
Lake / Sweeney
Castillo / Baker
Barney / Bonifacio / Valbuena
P

With the above roster...are the Cubs able to carry Coghlan and Ruggiano? Will the Cubs break camp with 6 bullpen arms?
