Rondon- can hurl it, no doubt he has control issues, this is the guy they want to take the job after they dump these other two. Him or Vizciano
Strop - on verge of being solid, everyday closer. 29 years old, could be a great trade if he develops into a bonafide closer as he has shown.
Veras - another guy they probably wanted to be better and trade him. 6'6", the guy hurls it in the bullpen, you can see why every coach thinks if they can get their hands on him, they can turn this guy into a star, 2 cent brain, long time buster, good bye.
Everyone else, just guys who throw the ball and provide some decent middle relief, sometimes.

I don't get why they had to go and get Wes Wright when Rosscup is sitting in AAA. I am guessing that they were hoping Wright pitched well early and could flip him or Russell at the deadline and get Rosscup and Rusin up in their place if need be. Rondon does nothing for me.

Overall the pen isn't the worst I have ever seen but it would be nice if the lefty specialists would specialize in something other than sucking balls.

you cannot really project pen arms into the future unless they are learning to be starters or closers. It's a year to year proposition across the league.

I feel pretty good that I said before Sunday that "he is really good at protecting the pen" when he stands in front of it during the game.

8 teams in 11 years, always a high WHIP, best year on a bad Houston team and they let him go.

It's totally a case of coaches, GM, etc seeing this guy throw hard at 6'6" and they are going to be the one who makes the guy into a closer. There isn't a pitching coach around who doesnt think he is the one to change a guy, he sees that one thing that nobody else sees and in the end , the guy is just a buster with some great talent that can never put it together, but someone will always try.

He is the Kellen Davis of baseball!
