While I am not in favor of Ian Stewart it's a 1 year deal for a guy they think has something left? Why, I have no idea, but the free agent market is pretty weak at 3B...thus Keop, gets a real deal from the Sox...

And IF they really think Baez can play 3rd, no reason to sign a journeyman for 3 years for $15M, let Stewart try again....but I only give him a half a season to make some progress, before I let Josh Vitters take his last major league swings

Stewart would give you worse than last year--you want shit on a plate or shift dripping off a plate? Its the same. Why is it okay to trot out single a pitchers and everyone swoons at what a great plan they have but this fuckhead gets a pass? Find a double a fatass who cant move and strikes out a lot and pay him minimium and you have Stewart at a bargain rate.
