He is quietly having a very good year. Could he be a late bloomer - Casey McGahee-esque?

I'm starting to think he should play everyday. His numbers would be great at 2nd if he continues. Plus LH bat.

On this team...maybe plays everyday.

But it isn't ideal.

I think his production looks much better if he's your second baseman. Why is Barney on the team? Is it because he's the back-up shortstop?

Bonifacio has played a little SS in his career, including one game this year for the Cubs.

But you could be right...or they could be hoping he picks it up a little to flip him for...like... some pine tar.

edit: Made up for a very ugly swing on that double.

Luis is a great Utility IF blench player with some pop in his bat. Happy to keep him around in that capacity. Nothing more. But there is value to that player as a pinch hitter.

What happened to Donnie Moore? He did a good job last year and would have looked good on the roster instead of Barney.

You mean Donnie Murphy?

Currently batting 227 for the Rangers

Valbuena just did work again to give them the lead. He has a very good eye. I did not remember him having that much plate discipline last year.

Great AB. Loved that he bat flipped a walk, too. Hilarious.

What a horrible job on catching the cutoff throw.

Bad bad things happened with Donnie Moore. I don't think giving up the hr in the ALCS helped, but some would have you believe he killed himself right after the game when in fact it was almost three years later I believe.
