A date circled at the outset of the season.

2nd time I have booked travel plans here and have cancelled.

One of my people went on the 60 day DL on Friday with some serious OUCHES.

Dont like to talk about the first time I planned going there!

Ump squeezed his perfecto away. No-hitter still going strong for the best pitcher in Chicago.

I just hope Areietta can make that lousy 2 runs of support hold up.

He's not Samardzija. Shouldn't be a problem.

The question is whether Grimm and/or Rondon will blow it for him if he gets taken out.

Cubs' Jake Arrieta six outs away from becoming first visiting pitcher since Detroit's Jim Bunning in 1958 to throw a no-hitter at Fenway.

Now back to watching Shawshank. Let me know when the plan is done.

Just kidding. Arrieta has some great movement on his pitches.

Arrieta fist bumps his glove at the top of his delivery. Bosox should bunt one on. Mess with old dude's head. Arrieta's almost retirement age.

And there goes the no hitter. Nice at-bat from Stephen Drew.

0.91 ERA for June for Jay Carietta!

However, I am sure some here will tell me he wasnt the best pitcher in chicago for June.

I'm just waiting for Justin Stone to analyze his across the body delivery and tell me how long until his shoulder blows up.

Arrieta was on Baseball tonight, they recited his June numbers 4-0, 0.91 ERA etc and asked how he felt about how he's been pitching lately. Arrieta's response starts with "After sucking for so long with the Orioles..." :D

Rajai Davis just hit a walk off Grand Slam aganist his old team:

I'm indifferent to Clark the Cub...but find it odd that he is making an in stadium appearance at Fenway. I guess the cubs marketing department think he's safer there than in wrigley. They showed him hanging out on top of the green monster during the second inning. Weird!

This series was the most fun I've had watching the Cubs in the Theo era.
