It was 'make 5 or 6 AS games before they turn 28.' That means they come up next year and make the AS game every year 5 or 6 years in a row. Sure its possible, but not very likely. If Hawk had said something like that, Cubs fans would have jumped all over it.

For reference Paul Konerko has made 6 AS game over his career and didn't make his first until he was 26.

If Hawk had said something like "Matt Davidson has the chance to make 6 AS games before he turns 29, Cubs fans would be laughing all over the place. And rightly show since Davidson is 22 right now. That would mean he comes up next year and makes 6 AS games in a row.

At least you now realize that Hawk is not the only homer announcer in town.
