Now with Landmark approval, all they need is the permit. Which the hispanic gay asshole controls downtown and he will print it when he is done organizing these blank papers and emailing his fiends about what is going on this weekend. he will try to get it done before he goes to lunch and if he can't then he is off until next Tuesday!

and of course, then there is the Aldermanic privledge of holding the permit for a couple of weeks while they review the plans, which somehow usually gets impossed if your didn't donate to him or her, 6 months prior to the permit being issueed, of course if your donated you get a letter saying it is OK and they will give you the permit right away. In this case I assume we are passed that point.

Now you have a 3 game series with the braves, so nothing is going to happen, but Monday is the break and they aren't back until July 22, so......LETS DIG!!!!!!!!!!!

And I understand that larger firms have other jobs and you cant just wait and wait keeping excavaters free hoping for this approval, but it's just digging, SUB IT OUT. I could assemble 5 machines in 1 day ready to dig! PRo, QUALITy, TAYLOR, DUNLEAVY....everyone of these guys would have someone there tomorrow!

LET'S GO!

Yeah, I'm with you, but for different reasons. Having gotten what they wanted there should be no more bogeyman obstacles to the Ricketts going forward at full speed. I know what you're saying about downtown and local approval, but with the Landmark's commission vote everything else should be a formality at this point. There may be a lawsuit or two by the rooftops (and maybe one or two by other's who've applied for what the Ricketts got (electronic signage) but were denied but the Ricketts should be ready to use their lawyers (where necessary) to fight the fight where it needs to be fought.

So let the clock start ticking until the Cubs make it to the playoffs (can't win championships without achieving the playoffs). Will it be 2017? 2018? Or will it be sometime after 2020 when all revenue streams a fully flowing? Now that the Ricketts can plan to make more money, will match their commitment to profits with a commitment to being competitive? Of course this would also include giving Theo another contract but what Cubs fan who's vaguely familiar with "the plan" would object?

The plan is in place, construction can now start, the Cubs shouldn't need another thing from the city, and thus the clock should now tick. Right?

How about next year for a wildcard run! With a real OF and keeping the pitching in place, they could have done so, this year.

That sounds too soon to be brilliantly smart. No offense.

Has Tunney finally got the hint from Rahm Vader or will he toss sticky buns at the heavy equipment per the script of Loukas?
