Free Music Event at Wrigley Field featuring O.A.R. presented by Budweiser
Dear Neighbor,

You are invited to a free music event at Wrigley Field, Saturday, August 23. Prior to the Cubs game against the Baltimore Orioles, the Red and Purple Lots will be transformed into a lively entertainment area where fans and guests can enjoy live performances by local bands and DJs beginning at 11 a.m. until the start of the game. At the conclusion of the game, the excitement will continue with a “Wrigley Field Extra Innings” performance presented by Budweiser featuring American rock band O.A.R.

O.A.R. will take the stage for an exciting 90-minute postgame set performing songs from their latest release, The Rockville LP (June 2014). After the O.A.R. set, additional live entertainment will continue until 8 p.m. CDT.

During the event, delicious ballpark food and beverages will be available for purchase, including Vienna Beef hot dogs, snacks and Anheuser-Busch products, as well as O.A.R. merchandise.

Dedicated neighborhood security details and additional cleaning crews will be present throughout the day and for post-event cleanup.

We look forward to seeing you there.

I'd rather spend $250 on a preseason Bears game.

I wouldn't spend $2.50 to see OAR.
BAD.

Wrigleyville rejoices.

Saw them last year at Northerly Island. I might go to this.

Kirkwood donating the $2.50

Seen them twice. I like them and they are good musicians, maybe too many musicians in the band? Ultra Hipsters

They're not a hipster band at all, and that ain't even my scene anyway. Talk to Spanky.

Lotsa Balt Fans in town, these guys must think there is a concert everyday here.

There are very few football fans out there, but I found one to pay $125 each for two face value $155 preseason tickets. The football fan that bought them probably wanted to see greats like Alshon Jeffrey and Brandon Marshall in person. But these days most people only care about TV and their fantasy app. What's your favorite fantasy app, spanky? Who did you pick in the first round? Are you ready for some Boardwalk Empire? Cuz all my rowdy friends are comin' over tonight!
