They are a decent team playing their best baseball. Sometimes those runs never stop, like with the Rockies a few years ago. Enjoy the ride. I am sure it is fun.

We actually had a discussion yesterday about how the only thing you can control is making the playoffs and therefore for a GM that making the playoffs is just as good of an accomplishment as winning the World Series.

Not if they keep striking out 18 times a game. The young hitters need to improve and we still need another starter before we can be calling this team "the best at X." Lets pull up on the reins just a little Cub fans. Still a year or two away.

Just discussed this over the weekend with my other half, who is a Cubs fan. I try to be objective and leave the hating to 90% of my Sox fan brethren.

There's a lot to be excited about with this team, but the starting pitching doesn't strike me as WS worthy and they defensively have some real problems. The 2008 Cubs were better than this team, but that will change within the next 2 years.

Better pitching now , better hitting in 08 .. Huge upgrade in Manager now .

08 is the kind of year ya got to win the N.L Career year from a bum like. Dumpster n Soto . I blame Lou , they could have rested the Vets at the end of the season n let the Mets get into the playoffs instead of the hottest team in baseball (Dodgers) after the A.S. break.

Should be significantly better next year. Add another top of the rotation starter (Zimmerman, Price) and add the experience all the young players are getting and barring injury, they should be a good deal better. By 2017, if not late in 2016, Almora should join in and be another piece of the puzzle added. It's just starting to be fun....only going to get better.
