Very patriotic crowd last night at Wrigley...Sat night game in Wrigleyville always notches it up a bit. Babe Bryant showing the country some stuff. Gary Jones sucking it up after the line drive nailed him. Clayton Richard, good story...Eight inning chant during the game USA USA USA USA......as they set up for Post game fireworks show in Wrigley...they rope off the field...players, players family come back on the field...One kid, couldnt be more than 2 years old, think it was E jaxs kid, kinda slowly walking away from the crowd of people...turns towards the IF...sees the light of day and makes the break for it....crowd gives a cheer (Yes, bigger cheer than e jax has ever gotten here)...

Good Video of this years highlights so far, very good fireworks show with tunes, especially considering the confines. Post game cubs party at Rooftop. Surprised I didnt see Danny B there, I mean with all his contacts, one thing I did get from this gathering. STRONG dislike of Starlin from Maddon. Would LOVE LOVE to Move on from him ASAP. Think of how much Maddon praises Castro v any other player on the team.

The Sox should try fireworks. :D

I went to the Sox game yesterday afternoon .... beautiful day, food/booze was fantastic ... but it was like a funeral. Even with SHARK pitching a gem, the place was dead and half empty on a perfect weather day. Kind of depressing what has happened on the South Side.

Top down. Stinks from the head...even if they win a few games, fans still arent coming until the final friday game.

Truth.

I can only hope for a Rocky Wirtz-type revival on the South Side after the Chairman kicks.

I don't know about your sources. Maddon seems to really get into those Starlin Castro high fives after a W. Probably the most excited guy on the Cubs to execute it outside of Castro.

Right and he ALWAYS has wonderful things to say about him....even more than any other player? More than Rizzo, Bryant and Russell.

Maddon is a really good manager and he gets it....to shit on the guy, bench him and publicly rip him...he is worth much less.

He and Baez are the guys he seems to praise the most.

Still, Maddon is a rainbow farter. His public analysis of his players bears no credibility.
