Wild card spot is down to a three horse race between the Cubs, Dodgers and Giants. Giants are back a game and a half on the Dodgers, so would be great to win both of these series, and the way the pitching matchups look, the Cubs should at least be able to come away above .500 for the week. Good chance they take two of three from the Giants. A Dodgers sweep would be nice. Too bad we can't get Arrieta up against Kershaw or Bumgarner.

They will split 3-3 on coast at worst and that will be fine but expecting more.

Am very excited that I was able to plan my work trip to Oakland around the first two games of the Giants' series. AT&T is a great ballpark and the Cubs pitchers might benefit from the cooler weather (low 60s expected for both night games).

I'd accept going 1-2 against SF and 2-1 against LA, as I think the Giants will eventually pass the Dodgers and win the NL West. Kershaw has been hittable at times this year. But the game against Bumgarner is going to be ugly.

Arrieta has more favorable matchups than Lester. Hoping for 3-1 in those games.

Of course Haren is going up against Bumgarner.
