Cards take 2 of 3. Cubs will win one somehow.

I'm actually being hopeful for this series. Reality could result in a bloodbath.

I'm tired of seeing Haren in the rotation. Wada, Wood and Richard are all better options.

This could be a breakout series for the Cubs. These young kids ready to prove something.

This is gonna be a beat down and the Cubs will be on the wrong side of it. They're intimidated of the Cardinals in their ballpark.

Gotta justify the unnecessary trade.

I'm inclined to agree. Getting one would be great. At least they can only lose three.

I'll be interested to see how they approach Lester. I can see them bunting him to death. It could get ugly.

I really don't like Coghlan running on that.

Nice to get into the bullpen early in the 1st game.

It is nice. But lets not get ahead of ourselves here. With Haren on the mound we are very capable of giving up this lead.

I'm pretty much anticipating that we will. Still nice, though.

I'm not celebrating yet. But it is good to set the tone, and Haren has been much worse for the Cubs than expected. He may come back to his career norms, and it is nice to tax the bullpen in game 1.
