Wow ... okay ... maybe you and Curious Hair can do each other small favor and suck each other off later.

I was first entertained by Harry Carry. Then Dawson and Sandburg became my favorite players.

Can't remember ever not being a Cubs fan. With my Grandparents having a 2 flat across the street from where Nuts on Clark is now, I grew up going to many games each summer. Yesterday's game was #781 for me now, with game #5 of the NLCS on deck for # 782.

Probably having games on TV, I was sick a lot as a preschooler with asthmatic/bronchial issues, so I spent a lot of time watching day games on WGN because it was before Channel 11 had Sesame Street and the like.

When I got to elementary school, I remember loving the April/May/September weeknight road trips, because I could watch the game from 6:30 until my dad got home from work and we had dinner. I don't think it ever dawned on me not to be a fan. My great uncle was a White Sox fan, but he died when I was three. My dad came over in the 50s, so he didn't have a strong fandom.

First baseball memory is Ernie's 500th. First game was when I was 7.

Always knew but it really hit me when they got Harry. As a kid I was like wow this guy looks like he has a lot of fun. He was like a big kid himself. Long live Harry!

When I got my first F in school and instead of grounding me, my parents said that I would do better next year.
