To answer the question, Maddon isnt ranked yet. Hasnt done nearly enough to even get a report card. Happy with the progress and the way he does things, but want to see this team play playoff ball.

It's the same reason people still defend Cutler. Kenny Williams may not be a great a GM, but he has been the best GM in chicago baseball the past 100 years.

Ditka was right time , right place.....and for that he gets GREAT COACH status.

Some Coaches are great for X's and O's , some are great for the true ability to lead.

Phil Jackson wasnt a great technician, he was a great leader though.

To lead the 85 Bears you had to have balls bigger than anyone on that team....and to do that was a feat in its own right.

I was never a Quenneville hater, but now that we're finding out just what a shitshow the Blackhawks were behind the scenes, I have more respect than ever for what he brings to the team. It's Phil and Q at the top and no one comes close.

Ozzie won that 2005 ring...he gets on the list...hsi kids keep him down and have kept him down. I am sure any owner or other managers look at bringing him in, they make some calls and people say FUCK NO....He brings his kids everywhere and they are just shitheads.

It is a matter of choosing words. Winning a championship doesn't translate to great. After 85, Ditka teams underachieved at playoff time, due in large part to coaching issues and not resolving the qb problem.
