You really must have liked what you saw out of the Pirates vs. Arrieta yesterday, huh?

Playoff. It's singular at this point.

If you didn't find the weekend a bit sobering as a Cubs fan, you weren't watching the games.

Civic pride my dick !

You just got a reality check of what's in store for the Pirates when they have to see CY Young award winner Jake Arrieta in 10 days.

Welcome aboard.

Sure did and Cole had a nice start as well.

I foresee this coming down to a battle of the bullpens. That is nail biting time.

The bullpen is definitely a strength of the Pirates, but Arietta has had 5 starts against the Pirates and gone at least 7 each time and they've scored a total of 3 runs of him.

He'll be rested and ready to go the distance if need be.

That's why the Pirates would be favored in a series but the Cubs will be favored (right gamblers?) in the WC game if its them and the Pirates.

The distance may well be beyond 9 innings. Are you confident the fading bats are going to touch Cole?

Fading bats.

All year long, no matter what they do you try to spin it. In the beginning of the year when they were hitting you said that was the best it would get. It got way better than that though.

Kris Bryant and Starlin Castro are probably the two hottest hitters in the league and they've been the 2nd best offensive team in baseball in September.

Enjoy the time off and think about #WinNow 11th edition and how the #reload with the Great Khahn now have seen Theo set the bar at 3 three years to make the post season....Khahn was promoted almost exactly one year after Theo...... So anything less than a 2016 post season appearance by the Sock will be a failure.

You'll survive.

There's still plenty of negative things you can post about the White Sox.

Not true. KW said he had not graduated to the position as of yet. He has three years from the point KW moves on. That Hahnjob will be heavenly.

Is that another one of those "Family Fun" entertainment zones at Comiskey so people don't have to watch the game?

You have been negative all year long and the Cubs have already won 90 games and assured a playoff bid, so I don't see where your negativity has done anything but make you look foolish. Why stop now?
