So some more on this wacko LaStella situation, per Jesse Rogers ...

Mr. Eloquent referred to LaStella several times as a 'different cat', and said that Tommy's gotten real into Buddhism & Eastern Philosophy and the like. Baseball is becoming increasingly unimportant to him and that if he plays baseball, it's apparently only going to be for the Cubs (else, I guess, he'd retire ... which he considered before the season started). Part of the reason he didn't go to AAA was b/c he didn't want to end his career by getting injured there.

So ... yeah. This guy needs to be launched to Mars or something.
