If I were a betting man like you, Joe Orr, One Post and Scorehead, I would be looking in to the overs all weekend. Cubs might put up 10 per game on the Rockies alone

Rockies Team ERA: 7.20
Cubs avg runs per game 7.11 runs per game

But baseball is weird, so who knows

O/U came out at 7 for Game 1 of the series.

Yeah, I took the over, but I hate when it seems too damn easy

Zobrist hitting third seems odd, but hey, Joe has the touch.

Zobrist hitting third does seem odd.

Also, bye-bye Kawasaski, because here comes Baez ... http://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/sports/baseball/iowa-cubs/2016/04/14/javier-baez-chicago-cubs-rehab-assignment-over/83050488/

Javier Baez was originally scheduled to travel with the Iowa Cubs to continue his rehabilitation assignment.

There’s been a change of plans.

A source close to the situation told the Register Thursday that Baez was headed back to Chicago — ending his rehab assignment with Iowa. ...

I think that's a Theo thing. I remember the Red Sox sometimes batting Ortiz and Ramirez 4 and 5 and putting someone like Millar, Mueller, or Todd Walker in the third spot. Its like having 2 #2 hitters

with Rockies team total at 3 they are expecting this to be a 4-3 game. Wind blowing in. Still seems like an improbable total

Joe likes to have all the table setters up before the power of the lineup gets to the plate.

And, though a small sample size, so far it's been awfully successful.

Rick Renteria would've never been so forward thinking

I didn't play it either way but is Kyle Hendricks a -240 pitcher?

Obviously the lines are only reflecting the action but a mania must be setting in. That should present good opportunities to make money if you are picking your spots.

Hey, Cubs come back and win, the over gets it...this could happen.

Humiliating loss. Wouldn't be surprised if the Rockies sweep us with all 3 games not being close. Cubs have been exposed. Fuck.

Im cool now. I can accept losing but it's the clown college on the field that drives me nuts. 4 errors and it should have been 5 but they gave a hit instead. Just drives me nuts. Shake it off and crush these guys tomorrow.
