Tremendous talent, solid .280 type hitter, will get hot for 3-4 weeks, then you have a typical .250 career major leaguer.

Decent speed, has no idea how to use it, fights with everyone, total asshole.

He'll battle Lillibridge, Danks and De Aza for the backup centerfielder job. I'd like that last bench spot to go to Lillibridge because he can also play 2B and SS. That would give Ozzie a very flexible bench with Vizquel and Teahen.

I don't want Ozzie to have a flexible bench. It allows him to think too much and that's when he gets in trouble. The next thing you know Andy Gonzales is playing more than Alexei Ramirez.

Bad signing. You already have oney fucking with the chemistry of the clubhouse. You don't need to add this guy to the mix.

Kenny's not dumb enough to sign him to a 3yr/$30M contract like idiot Hendry did with Bradley. It's a minor league deal and he makes $500,000 if he makes the major league team. Rather than having to take on someone else's problem Milledge will be easy to shit-can if he acts up.

And the White Sox have a strong leadership group with Paulie & AJ to shut people up or get them out of town.

See you are just comparing assholes.

Milledge was, or is, a 5 tool prosepct. This is not a guy that you found some talent that nobody ever saw, he was a 5 tool propsect. Not many of those.

Why would the Pirates give up on a 5 tool prospect that comes very cheap?

Elijah Dukes doesn't have a team. Might as well get him too.

The poster before me was comparing assholes. I pointed out that unlike Hendry, Kenny didn't give a long term/big money commitment to this asshole.

Milledge is hitting .314 with 4 home runs and 9 rbi. It looks like he's going to win the backup centerfielder job. Lillibridge is out of options so Kenny will look to trade him. Maybe he can package him with Ramon Castro and give the backup catchers job to Tyler Flowers who looks like a different player this spring.
