As I only heard this from a Grote update, don't know if this is Ozzie being serious or just a comment he blurted out?

But, you can't sit Humber now, can you?

Jackson seems like a guy who might go postal if pulled from the starters, which Kenny might love as I could see him demanding a trade.

If I were you, I'd be far less concerned with the White Sox and really concerned with your investment in season tickets for the Cubs.
Empty seats, overpriced tickets, tickets for next to nothing on Stub Hub, $5.00 per gallon of gasoline, MLB being a totally inferior product to the other 3 major professional sports.....

I don't like it, but the Sox are in quite an odd situation now (a good one).

Doesn't Agg Sox Fan Bob have Cub season tickets as well? Might take away some of that street cred as the Sox fan he has worked so hard to hone?

Agg Bob has half of a third at The Shrine....I have been going to games there for 50 years....I will never stop....I am damned pissed off that my crucial BP CUP SATURDAY game has not sold on STUB HUB....
We are all partners with the Official Ticket Scalper of MLB.....STUB HUB!!!!!
My street cred was established last season when I said the current MLB product is horseshit and I was told I was wrong by Elmhurst Steve!

I'm adding Bob to my list of stealth Cub fans alongside Mike North, Mac, and bernstein. Why not openly root for your favorite team like bigfan does? It's not that embarrassing.

The way Phil Humber has pitched this season, Ozzie seems to have a nice problem on his hands. It likely means that Humber starts the A's series in Oakland Friday night for starters. Also, it likely gives guys like Mark Buehrle, who is not getting any younger, a few extra days between starts. It also helps the Sox with only 1 more off day and that's on Thursday.

As for tomorrow in Anaheim, I've got to think Jake Peavy will be on a pitch limit as he tries to come all the way back from the most unusual shoulder injury ever. I think one more bad injury for #44 and his career will be history.

i do not even think there is a situation..peavy will make less than 200 pitches before there is an injury...3 starts max and i doubt he sees the 3rd start.
