Game 1

In the 5th on that fly ball that Uribe called. I think he called it and only bailed because he lossed it. Hawk was getting on him but I just think he lossed it.

You can't really blame the outfielders because he was so infatic in his call so they stopped. The sad part is it led to 3 runs against Danks. All earned because an error can't be given on that. Danks should have been out of the inning with the Sox up 2-1. Instead he has 4 earned runs through 4.2 innings. Danks has no luck this year.

uribe does that shit all the time. he runs way out into the outfield trying to catch any ball that hits in the air.

he didnt lose that, he thought he was being called off. shoulda been out of that inning.

There is nothing wrong with Uribe running out there hard. If he was called off its not his fault. Uribe's fine. If he's called off then why didn't the outfielder make it? Outfielders fault then.

As an infielder you go hard for it until your called off.

you dont run 100 feet back into the outfield for a flyball. uribe had the easiest chance to make that catch. for wahtever reason, he just stopped running.

will ARod ever cool off?

finally paulie gets a clutch hit.

Yes you do. You run until you are called off. I'd rather have a guy over aggresive then passive any day of the week.

All they have to do is call him off and he stops.

Beardown, its not uribe fault, its not the outfielders fault and Danks has no luck, sooooooooo...is there a point to this? Listen, before Frank comes and attacks me, I think the WS will win their divison this year, but all this excuse making is making you guys sound......bad. Danks is 0-2 with a 5.06 era, its bad, no luck or all the luck in baseball isnt going to change that. He might just not be ready for the show. Plus he has been in the 90-95 pitch count by the 5th inning the last two starts, that is a issue.

The WS are my american league team, they really are, but I will not put blinders on the soft spots of the team and the 5th starter is a soft spot.

No point Fred. Just an observation. Why don't you worry about them putting glue on 2nd base at Wrigley?

Ok, for the last time, I am a Braves fan, why is that you sox fans get so touchy? Danks has these stats with the Tigers or twins and you all would be saying he sucked. Cub fans might be clueless, but Sox fans are just assholes from what I see, cant even make a point without some so of you putting your head in a hole and denying faults.

Good luck this year, I mean it, but get some thicker skin, your team isnt perfect, just like the braves.

Once again. I think Uribe lossed it. I think he was the first and only to call it and just lost it. If you lose it you lose it.

Now, if he was called off then fuck Erstad. He fucked up then. Happy.

Fred, you cast this "Sox fans love everything about the team" tag on us. Couldn't be further from the truth on this board. Me, Frank and others are harsh when its called for.

Frank ripped Uribe in this very thread and I disagreed with him. You don't make sense.

I am not sayig all Sox fans love anything WS Beardown, but Danks has not be lights out this year, he has been so-so, thats all I am saying. To be totally honest, I think what got me started is that Hawk and his babbling about luck, but a week ago he said its mostly talent that wins, which is it? Yes, I am a hawk hater, that I will admit. Later guys.

Oh, by the way frank, you need to anger managment help and if you send me your address, I can help you.

So so is great for a your "5th" starter. If 5th starters were good to great then they wouldn't be tagged 5th starters. LOL.

I wish Erstad or Rob would have called him off. Both looked like they were going to stroke their puds.

I'm not a huge fan of that, sorta old now, I would trade it to get back to the WS and win one more, we are sorta like the buffalo bills of baseball.

Yeah. In that 14 year run of division titles you have the same amount of World Series titles as the White Sox in that span. One. But I do admire that organization.
