That one sucked. I remember exactly where I was- watching on a TV at Phyllis' Musical Inn.

What would it prove if you beat Frank in bowling?

I was listening on the radio in my Uncle's garage at a 4th of July party to that one as well

I also remember being at home for the AJ/Barret brawl, and being on the phone with my buddy giving him the full play by play. He was on the Metra heading into work and had forgotten his radio at home.

best thing to come out of this series is Floyd breaking his bad streak. It's rare that he has inconsistent starts. It is usually a string of bad followed by a string of good and so on. He is usually pretty good from now until mid August

I will tell you what I find amusing. Every time I have turned on The Score, I have heard "..the home of your first place Chicago White Sox!"

Who does this in June? Ha ha ha!

It sounds like something one might hear over a high school public address system: "Be sure to come to the pep rally tonight to support your first place (insert school nickname)!"

What is next, a "magic number" countdown?

Steve, nobody is going to bowl against you so you might as well just forget about that. I am a mediocre bowler at best. You appear to be slightly better than mediocre. On a good day, I would beat you easily. On your good day, you would beat me pretty good.

Funny how you want to run down my Bowling abilities and act as if I'm not really very good, but run like a little girl from a challenge where you would have to do more than run your mouth. At least now everyone knows where things stand. This is exactly what I expected though.

Steve,

You're not very good at bowling. You are decent, nothing more. You try to show off here that you win this and that and have this high average. In reality, you are bowling in sideshow leagues against C and a few B level bowlers. I've never made claims that I was anything more than just an OK bowler. I had an average in the mid 170's when I was in leagues. In men's leagues there are usually a few guys who averages well over 200. If 192 wins the high average award, you aren't bowling against the best of the best. You are the same guy who posts about how the competition in the AL Central is so inferior to the other division. Well guess what stevie boy, your high average award was against inferior competition.

I bet you got real excited when C. Lee tied it in the 9th

Cub fans were running up and down Waveland with brooms

There are only 4 teams in all of baseball that have never, ever made the playoffs in two consecutive years.

I read the article. It was pretty dumb.

If the Sox lowered tickets to $20, the attendance wouldn't improve dramatically.

Sox fans would still find reasons to bitch.

Agreed. I don't think the problem is filling the high end tickets. The first and third base lines betweent the dugouts on all three levels seem to fill. I do think an adjustment in the corners, OF and the upper half of the upper deck might result in some increases. Any change is probably too late for this year.

Charge more to tailgate, yes I mean it, give them more space in the special T Gate lot.
