SS Brian Dozier has left the building for Minnesota. White Sox 6, Twins 1 after 5 at Target.

Is he hurt? Where did he go? Who is going to play SS for the Twins now?

 No, Frank...Dozier homered in the bottom 5th for the Twins. Jeff Manship has relieved the ineffective Nick Blackburn in the top 6th...6-1 Sox.

under 8.5
That is a huge number with Sale starting and the Sox offense being as anemic as its been. Blackburn has an ERA over 7 but still. This has a 2-0, 3-1 type score written all over it.

  Shows what we know.

Do you think the Twins were dumb to build a new stadium when the dome had a big home field advantage? What about the decision to give Mauer the big dough?

I think they've been wanting to play outdoors like they used to do at Metropolitan Stadium many years ago, Mini. Even though the Metrodome was a "Dome Field Advantage" for the Twins when they & the Vikings started sharing that facility when it opened in 1982, I don't think they have any regrets about playing outdoors at Target Field. As for Joe Mauer & Justin Morneau getting all that $$$$, that's another story.

Darin Mastroianni has taken Will Ohman deep...Darin's 2-run homer has cut the lead the White Sox over the Twins to 12-4 Bottom 8th.

Apparently Ohman has been waived after the game.
