They may have taken 2 out of 3 last month at U.S. Cellular Field, but the Toronto Blue Jays provide the opposition for the White Sox this weekend at The Cell. The Jays are in last place right now in the AL East, even though they are 42-41 and 8 games behind the Yankees in the division coming in.

The Jays plan on starting 3 straight lefties this weekend, and this is more than likely Omar Vizquel's last visit to U.S. Cellular Field, too. Vizquel, who started 2 of the 3 last month at second base, has dropped hints that he'll retire at the end of this season at age 45.

Here are the pitching matchups for the weekend:

TONIGHT: CSN Plus (CLTV on Most Cable Systems, DIRECTV 666 & 666-1 in HD) & 670 The SCORE/White Sox Radio Network, 7:10p (CT)

TOR: LHP Aaron Laffey (0-0, 2.14 ERA) vs. CHW: RHP Jake Peavy (6-5, 2.96 ERA)

SATURDAY: Comcast SportsNet & 670 The SCORE/White Sox Radio Network, 3:10p (CT)
TOR: LHP Ricky Romero (8-3, 5.35 ERA) vs. CHW: RHP Gavin Floyd (6-8, 4.91 ERA)

SUNDAY: WGN's CW9/WGN America & 670 The SCORE/White Sox Radio Network, 1:10p (CT)
TOR: LHP Brett Cecil (2-1, 5.64 ERA) vs. CHW: RHP Dylan Axelrod (0-1, 4.91 ERA)*

*Subject to Change-According to CHW Manager Robin Ventura

I didn't understand your title. If you remember the Jays' Potato Chips commercials back in the day, mine is a play on words. Back in the day, Jays was "Can't Stop Eating Those Jays".

I hope Dr Alex Shigo is a woman, otherwise someone needs to explain why they let a man make a diagram of their peenus.

Even though lefty Aaron Laffey is starting for the Blue Jays tonight, the regular White Sox lineup is in place for tonight's first of 3 vs. Toronto. Here is tonight's White Sox lineup with batting average:

30 Alejandro De Aza CF (L) .291
20 Kevin Youkilis 3B (R) .249
32 Adam Dunn DH (L) .213
14 Paul Konerko 1B (R) .332
51 Alex Rios RF (R) .316
12 A.J. Pierzynski C (L) .287
24 Dayan Viciedo LF (R) .254
10 Alexei Ramirez SS (R) .256
15 Gordon Beckham 2B (R) .240

Jake Peavy hopes to snap a 4-game losing streak for the Southsiders tonight.

"Old Man" Omar Vizquel isn't in tonight's lineup for the Blue Jays, but here's how they'll deal with the White Sox' Jake Peavy:

13 Brett Lawrie 3B (R) .291
28 Colby Rasmus CF (L) .262
19 Jose Bautista RF (R) .243
10 Edwin Encarnacion 1B (R) .295
26 Adam Lind DH (L) .201
5 Yunel Escobar SS (R) .256
11 Rajai Davis LF (R) .267
2 Kelly Johnson 2B (L) .245
9 J.P. Arencibia C (R) .226

Aaron Laffey does the chucking for Toronto this eve.

The Blue Jays' new uniforms, which are more or less their 1992-1993 uniforms, are terrific.

Yeah, those appear to be the uniforms the Blue Jays won back-to-back World Championships in the early '90s. They definitely went back to the future by going retro this year.

They're a little different, but you'd have to look at them side-by-side to tell. Still, great decision. Their old uniform was awful.

The one they sported the last few years...Absolutely. The one with a Blue Jay and a "J", along with what appeared to be a silver "T" on black caps, not to mention the fancier "Jays" & "Toronto" scripted across the chest...Not good.
