You seem to be the only person on the board who doesn't get the concept here. If I was being so obtuse that I refused to acknowledge my mistake on a basic concept you'd be doing a full psychological workup on me and my desire to never admit I was wrong.

It's just always amazing to me that the people who most complain about my arguing tendencies on here violate them worse than I ever have.

So yes, Jerry Reinsdorf is the best baseball owner since George Halas because he has won 7 titles. Clearly, that is EXACTLY what I was saying.

It's ok spanky. Just admit you are wrong. We can't all be me and be right all the time. You've been wrong plenty of times before so this really doesn't effect my opinion of you. Pick your battles with me. You've never beaten me in an internet argument for a reason. Don't put yourself at an even bigger disadvantage by coming from a position of ignorance.

Yes, it makes total sense. It makes perfect sense if YOU decide to actually use the context it was said in. And we have ever had other sports cross sections/threads? Never a Bears though or comparison in the Cubs section? Never a Bulls comparison in a hockey thread? C'mon man. Threads and discussions cross here all the time. I cannot believe you are this dense. Rick has said for years that 'Jerry is the best owner in 'Chicago sports history'

Chicago sports history. I have never, ever seen him qualify it with "best basketball owner" or "best baseball owner." Its always been just in 'Chicago sports.' As I said earlier in this thread (which you seemed to ignore) that Rick has said that about Reinsdorf in the Bears section when the McCaskey's are discussed. Why haven't you jumped all over him then?

You took something out of context and regardless of it was on purpose or not, it was still out of context. You are continuing to make yourself look bad in this thread. This isn't an act you usually play on the board, but if that is the act you are going to play from know on, then I can understand it. If you actually are serious with this, it is dangerously close some of the worst sports thoughts ever seen on this board.

So, coming off a 100% correct prediction last year, I'll now list my White Sox off-season story prediction -

Late December / Early January - Gordon Beckham has changed his workout routine, including a different approach to the mental aspect of the game, and is really lacing the ball in BP over the winter.

You are becoming a very active member in rpb's White Sox hater club.

Not hating. Predicting the media.

I predicted the Adam Dunn weight-loss and hitting articles last winter and he had a big comeback year. You should be glad that my attention is now on Beckham.

I wonder if he'll hit more HRs in Venezuela than Bryan LaHair did last year.

It's not our fault that the White Sox are the darlings of Chicago.

Maybe more Cubs players should perform sexual acts on media members in trade for positive articles.

I have no idea what this reference means but I'm happy for Paul Sullivan.

It's in honor of the girl who represents the average Cub fan on this site.
