"We have to apologize to the fans watching this thing because I'm tired of watching this day in and day out. ... Wow. You thought I was a good manager. Well, look at me now. I'm not that good. You're as good as your players are."

''I'm tired of being positive. They'll blame the coaching staff and the manager and [owner] Jerry Reinsdorf and [general manager] Kenny Williams, but blame the players, too. I'll take the blame because I run the club, but every move I've been making so far is the wrong one because [the players] are not supporting it."

* Dan Uggla (.265) - Bats Right

SLG. against L - .583

* Hanley Ramirez (.325) - Bats Right

SLG. against L - .691

* Miguel Cabrera (.333) - Bats Right
BA against L - .411
SLG. against L - .911

So how is starting the 9th in a tie game with a lefty on the mound the right move? I don't care how good "you're players are" any lefty in that scenario is set up to fail.

Either he's asleep at the switch or he's given up. He needs to take his own advice and "Shut the fuck up".

This has truely been a team effort. There have been bad moves that contributed to this failure in the front office, scouting, field management and players. I guess I am not as frustrated at this point because there is absolutely no in season fix to this problem. Like Tommy De Simone, their done and there ain't nothing nobody could do about it.

Agreed, that was a bonhead move. It was a situation where they could have gone to the only guy they allegedly trust, Jenks, and didn't. He faced one batter the night before, it's not like he wouldn't have been available.

Ozzie should have brought Jenks in during that last game of the Yankee series. In that 9th while it was a one run game. Before the AROD slam.

You don't have to worry about Jenks pitching too much. We lose so much and he doesn't get save chances any way. He's only pitched 25 innings this year.

He's good to have some 2 innings stints.

Unfortunately there is a flaw in the logic behind bringing Jenks in during the ninth inning of a tied ballgame.

Sure, he has been the only relief that this club has had from the pen, but the risk of running into extra innings (especially with our horrible offense not breaking up a tie in the bottom half) is far too great to bring your closer in at that point. I would rather wait for any potential lead or closing opprotunity before bringing Jenks in so I don't have to rely on Thorton or Massett to close a game otherwise.

I don't care how bad a team's bullpen is when considering your offense can't put runs on the board anyway.

What do you know? Ozzie's bringing Bobby Jenks in the 8th with no outs. 1st and 3rd. He's finally thinking like me.

I'm following it on the MLB.com. They said it was an error on Garland. Was it a catchable ball for Uribe or Iguchi or did he have no chance?

Fuck. 2-1 Sox with Garland pitching great. Now its 4-2 Marlins and Garland will get the loss.

That's the first homer Jenks has allowed all god damn year.

The Fuckers lose again. Despite getting a few base runners in the 8th and 9th.

So is this going to be Buehrle's last start for the Sox?

It doesn't matter who pitches. If they come out of the Sox bullpen the game is over.

That's it! They need to switch bullpens with the visiting team.
