I thought the 1983 White Sox also sported a different cap on the road. While I remember them sporting the white caps with the red bill & the word "SOX" in navy blue at Comiskey, RFDC, I'm old enough to remember that team sported a navy blue road cap with a red bill & the word "SOX" in white away from home.

That sounds right. Still a bad look. White-paneled caps generally are. What they have now is probably the best they've ever had.

They're also hard to keep clean, CH.

Even though I was very little when they first came out in 1972, I actually dug the throwbacks the White Sox sported Sunday afternoons last season. The white & red pinstripe uniforms with the red caps. They grew on me last season.
