Figures. Sox finally have a great day against a great pitcher. 6 runs off the orioles stud. Buehrle has a nice game. Fans chanting "resign Buehrle". He gets a nice ovation as Ozzie takes him out. 2 outs in the 7th with a 4 run lead. Nice and happy time at the Cell. Then we bring in Bucivich and it's a 1 run game.

Now we have to sweat it out. Nothing is easy for us. Cmon Jenks.

There you go. Another well pitched game by Buehrle where he doesn't get a win. They didn't hit Jenks hard to tie it. Buckivich screwed it up today. The Fields error didn't help.

Only 2 earned runs for Buehrle in 7.2 innings.

Jenks appears to be on the Fuentes Pre All Star regimine...

That said, I'd like to have him on the Cubs closing the door in the 9th.

I hope he does resign with the Sox. That way I only have to worry about the Cubs meeting him in two series a year. He goes to an NL or God forbid an NLC opponant (like hell if the Cubs will sign him. They've screwed the pooch on Zambrano, they're not goint to get Buehrle), his 200+ IP and 3+ ERA will be a huge pain in the ass to deal with. Better he stays in the AL.
