Keep it.
seriously, after having a ~4-5ish year run of being a perennial .260/14/60 type guy, he churns out one nice !!! season and all of a sudden the sox should run out and lock him up? i don't trust chase headley; granted i'm not exactly a maven on my padres baseball where i watched them a bunch of times last year and saw a guy who made himself look dangerous at the plate, still, i'm leery of the brady anderson year being a factor here as opposed to the light turning on and 2012 chase headley being your chase headley from now til 2017 or something, whatever would comprise the bulk of the "lock up."
unless you could get him for a song, i wouldn't be in a hurry to do that. i'd sooner toss some prospect peanuts their way and see if i could get a kid like kyle blanks who could be a serious 40HR threat @ the joan if he could hit .250+ and stay on the field. i hear dj on the thursday broadcast str8up laughing at a texter who asked if it's reasonable to expect adam dunn to have a better season this year because HEH HEH, adam dunn hit 40HR so to ask him to give you more than that.... well that's asking a whole lot. so if you take some walks on the white sox and hit some home runs, you don't even have to hit .230 to be an unquestionable success. ergo, i'd go for my guy blankman before i run out and give away courtney hawkins or whatever SD would want for chase fk'n headley.
