Maybe this has been said but Sox do not need 1st pick. That generally is a pitcher. At 3-6 wherever they end up a nice college position player will work.

Historically speaking #1s have had much better careers than others, but no chance they can get that anyway.

Just so I understand.

Sox nation is fine with a team that they thought would contend for a wildcard that ended up being as bad as the 3 teams who have made it clear that they will not win this year and are stock piling draft picks? and playing half of their minor league system in the majors?

Did I get this correct, that the fact they Tried to win this year, but failed to the tune of a $111 mill payroll, that's OK?

losing 100 is OK as long as you're trying not to!

Clearly you don't understand.

Nobody is fine with this year's team. They absolutely suck, its an embarrassment to watch, and I couldn't care less if they get a good draft pick or not. They are awful right now. As for playing prospects, they already have 91 fucking losses so why the hell not play some of the prospects to see what you have for next year?

Cubs are going to lose 90some games, and Theo comes out and says that the organization had success all across the board. Hell would freeze over before Jerry, Kenny, Hahn, etc come out and say that 2013 was a success across the board for the White Sox.

I'm not worried about a thing. Kenny Williams is still around. The guy who has pissed away $900,000,000 in Payroll since the 2006 season for one whole Playoff win so Fanboys can Pretend the Sox Contend!!!
I am confident Kenny is looking for another football player with "an edge" who is not repped by Scott Boras for the Sox to draft.
Things are looking up in Weird Jerryland.
Hopefully Weird Jerry will not have to pay the State any Stadium rent this season.
THAT is a White Sox WINNER.

How many CSFMB threads featured two posters who are both lawyers?

None. That's why this was the greatest thread ever.
