WHAT IS THE PLAN! You still have not explained it.

I gave you reasons why I think they will not win 80 games and you respond with, " you spelled Ventura wrong"

Do you even know what the plan is?

The plan has been detailed to you so many time by management. Why do we have to keep explaining it.

Sorry, I am not up to date on WhiteSox management articles. It is on my list of things to read, next to Obamacare.

I am beginning to think you guys have no clue WTF Hahn is trying to do. WhiteSox fans thinking Shark was a good trade just confirms this theory.

I wonder if the plan includes dealing Tim Anderson at the deadline. If they are really going for it they may need to attack this two year window hard.

This is the problem when Cubs fans try to dismiss the "Babe Fucking Ruth" argument that some Sox fans are making. Cubs fans claim that some of them are being realistic and that Sox fans are just painting with a broad brush. Then 20 minutes later a Cubs fan will make a crack about the Ligue's or Laz Diaz.

Living well is the best revenge.

With Hahn at the helm, we are living well.

I don't think the plan has changed....I would argue there have been a few bumps along the way, but they've kept a consistent approach since 2004.
1. 5 legit starting pitchers
2. no stupid contracts

I attribute the starting pitcher comment to the Danny Wright era where every 5th game, you knew the other team would be salivating and fighting at the bat rack. For #2, the Sox simply needed to stop overpaying for big named FA that would handcuff them long-term. The 2004 team came close, but fell short and in 2005 it came together. For a long time, they fielded (arugably) the best starters 1-5 in baseball. Rule #2 got squishy due to the fact that 2005 had beefed up payroll and they got sloppy....biggest sin was Alex Rios..that one hurt and then follow it up with Adam Dunn.

The team is now out of contract hell and it appears they have the reset button and can attempt to field 5 legit starters and lock up potential good players early.

Not sure how this season will go, but I like the approach...always have...and look forward to games that mean something.

Looks like I may buy mlb.tv again after it being a waste of money last year, but that means I'm just a fan of the internet and not really of baseball.

What's your plan? To have the worst defense in MLB and sign pitchers other teams didn't want? Outside of Sale and Abreu, the rest of the team is very average at best. Your season depends on Shark, Robertson and Z.Duke having a great season (which will be hard to do with the poor defense) and Abreu, Sale, Eaton, Garcia staying healthy. Factor in a poor manager in Venture and I do not see them winning more then 80 games this year.
You misspelled Ventura, and don't forget about Rondo.
