It appears he is not...or at least not a very good one. Also, at this point, he doesn't hit enough to be moved anywhere else. He had a decent stretch from about mid April to mid May, otherwise he has been dreadful at the plate for his entire career.

To be fair, he's come a long way this season as a fielder.
