That may be true, but other factors make the jobs still more attractive. For instance in Miami Mattlingly got 7 years the expectations were so low.

i mean, he's got a point

Marlins and Maybe Texas have other factors that make the job more attractive. The other places are historically awful for baseball and there is zero chance they are better jobs than the White Sox.

His point is valid that I find it unacceptable that the White Sox Managerial job is on the bottom of desirable place to work, but it's not the worst are even bottom 5.

Sure, if you want to find a guy who gets to keep his job for 7 years, wins or not.

But LaRussa is already gone, and Renteria and Ventura before him, and all in the last 7 years.
