After yesterday's loss to the Twins, sources say Mark Buerhle was livid about unfair tactics by the Minnesota Twins, who tagged Buerhle for 10 hits and 7 earned runs in just 5 1/3 innings. Buerhle told teammates and Manager Ozzie Guillen that "those guys were hitting my pitches like they could see them coming. It's like they were watching the ball from the moment it left my hand until it reached the batter box. They were tipping pitches to themselves." Buerhle was further incensed when Guillen and the Sox refused to file a protest with MLB. This latest episode comes after several recent similar allegations including last season when Buerhle believed the Texas Rangers were flashing signs to their hitters from the center field scoreboard.

I assume you are being sarcastic as Buhrle has not had an acceptable MLB start in a month.

The whole thought that any of this could actually happen really blows my mind. I honestly think Buerhle is just dealing with some sour grapes right now after leaving pitches hanging in the strike zone. The idea that a team can actually have pitches tipped off to them by their scoreboard is something out of a movie, IMO.

This is really disappointing he would say that crap if that's really how it went down. Take responsibility for being crappy over the last month and a half and get better. Or maybe YOU are the one tipping your own damn pitches, Mark.

Umm, you guys do realize that slamma jamma's original post was satirical, right?

While the tone of slamma's post is about as clear as mud (seeing as though it's his second post), Buerhle did mention something along these lines in a series before this most recent debacle.

Actually I didn't get that at all but good to hear if it was. Whenever the Sox are playing this bad and losing like this I watch the game and then avoid all media and radio afterwards. Why add insult to injury I figure, so I had no idea if this was real or not. Buehrle has made stupid claims like that in the past so I figured he just did it again.
